Apollo Stout 40 is a performance fat-bike aimed at the serious rider. Although fat bikes were designed to ride exclusively on sand and snow, they are also a fun option for shorter trail rides as the huge tyres are quite well suited loose and dusty trails.
The frame is of monocoque modular carbon fibre construction, giving this bike a clear cut advantage over the competition with the reduced weight and increased stiffness you get from carbon. The Stout also features a tapered headtube for increased stiffness and bearing life, plus a 12×142 rear axle for significantly increased strength. The amazing is also complemented by a full carbon fibre fork for superb steering accuracy.
Coming equipped with massive 4.8 tyres means the Stout well and truly lives up to its name, with plenty of grip and effectively 2 of suspension travel from the big bag tyres. The 26 alloy rims are drilled with square holes for extra weight reduction helping this big rig easily get up to speed.
The Stout 40 features a Sram 2×110 drivetrain, giving it a wide range of gears as well as smooth and simple operation. Sram DB5 hydraulic disc brakes handle the stopping duties, with renowned power and modulation you will have ample control to slow this beast down.
