Pirelli widens his presence also to the offroad world and in Sicily presents Scorpion MTB, his first line of tires dedicated to mountain bikes. Characterizing concept of the new Pirelli product line is the proposal of a range of models designed with respect to the variety of land, based on their consistency, from compact to cellar. Easily understandable and developed for each specific need, the MTB Scorpion line is accompanied by a dedicated engineering for each individual size and version. Smartgrip compound

Smartgrip compound is a compound that uses the most advanced chemical technologies to obtain two typically antithetical characteristics in the offroad world: mechanical resistance and chemical grip. This formulation allows you to reach such a level of performance that it can be used in all the rubber layer that composes the tread. L’Use of a single -sight ensures that the performance is not caline as the tread wear grows, criticality instead typical of multilayer mixes. Pirelli chooses the best compound for each tread and every size, no compromise between grip and handling on dry and wet.
