Merida Juliet 7. 40-D is an entry level hardtail mountain bike, designed specifically for female riders. The womens specific build includes a different stem, low stand-over height, handlebars, and womens specific saddle to give you a more comfortable ride. The 6061 aluminium frame is lighter and more advanced, with additional heat treatment and double-butted wall thickness to produce a light and stiff frame.

The brakes are also adjustable to suit the riders preference, making for an easier reach to reduce hand fatigue and increase confidence.The Juliet 7.40-D is made with a 27 speed Shimano drivetrain, Shimano disc brakes and Merida Tyres. The SR Suntour Fork will give you a smooth ride on rougher surfaces and let you enjoy the rougher aspects of mountain biking with a bit of extra comfort. Racelite 61 Aluminium 2019:We use a minimum of 6061 aluminium. The pay back is that its possible to make lighter and more advanced frames. We use an additional heat treatment and double-butted wall thicknesses to produce light and stiff frames.

Lock-Out 2019:The suspension fork and/or rear shock can be locked, either directly or via a remote control lever on the handlebar.

K-Mount Drop-Out 2019:Integrated mount on the chainstay to fit a Merida kick stand.
