The Merida One-Twenty 9.800 is the all-rounder in the dual suspension, 29 inch wheel range. The Merida One-Twenty 9.800s frame is made from Meridas Superlite 16 Aluminium (6016), which means that the walls can be super thin and deliver amazing strength, ideal for demanding off-road riding and racing. A tapered head tube with 1 1/8″ bearings in the top and 1 1/4″ or 1 1/2″ in the bottom is used to create superb stiffness and precise, reliable steering. The cables are routed internally so that they are protected from the elements, and the frame is given a second pass over weld to give it a sharp, carbon-like appearance.

A 12-speed Sram GX Eagle drivetrain will make it easier to climb and descend quickly and the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes give you reliability and control in any conditions, which is exactly what you want from your mountain bike brakes. The One-Twenty 9.800 has a Rock Shox Revelation fork with Rock Shox Delux RL rear shock and lock-out for riding on the smoother surfaces. The Float Link delivers sensitive response characteristics and the rear suspension system appears to offer more travel than the model name suggests.

Smart Entry 2019:Cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trail gets rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc.

12-142 Thru-Axle 2019:Selected front forks use a 100mm wide through axle 12 or 15mm in diameter to increase lateral stiffness. A 142mm wide 12 mm rear axle fixed directly into the frame increases rear end stiffness whilst simplifying wheel removal and replacement.

C-S Post Mount Disc 2019:Post mount disc brake calipers fit directly onto the seat stay for a strong and light connection whilst a chainstay post mount positions the caliper on the chainstay within the rear triangle for extra protection and better distribution of braking forces. Another benefit is that internal cable routing is also easier and neater via the chainstay.
