The Merida One Twenty RC 300 is a trail bike with a touch of XC speed for an agile ride. The triple butted 6066 aluminium frame is stiff and light, with 100mm travel thanks to the Suntour Edge TR LOR8 Rear Shock with lockout. The Float Link Suspension allows the lower shock to move with the system which gives you a plush feel and enhanced pedalling efficiency. This makes it different to rest the rest of the One Twenty range which packs 120mm rear travel, it does however have a 120mm travel Suntour XCR32 Fork with remote lockout, giving this bike a feel that sits somewhere between trail and XC.

This bike is more than capable on the trails, equipped with a 2×9 speed Shimano Alivio Drivetrain which is simple, efficient and reliable. While the Tektro M275 2 piston Hydraulic Disc Brakes give you the stopping power and control you need to ride with confidence. The RC 300 rolls on Merida Comp CC wheels and 29×2.2″ Maxxis Ikon Tyres which fuse grip and speed in one package. The Merida One Twenty RC 300 is a trail bike built to go fast, with reasonable spec and design which is reasonable value for money for the keen trail rider.

Float Link Suspension:The lower shock mount moves with the system to deliver plushness and pedalling efficiency. Our engineers can precisely influence the transmission ratio and progression, which means that a Float Link system is very sensitive, delivering great support in mid-travel and the appearance of more travel that the model name suggests. The rear end creates the feeling of almost bottomless travel whilst remaining perfectly controlled when climbing.

Trunnion Mount:A trunnion mount shock gives our frame designers more flexibility by using a shorter shock with increased stroke. Combined with the ball bearing bushing of the upper mount, shock sensitivity is increased, and the suspension performance can be perfectly tuned.

Non-Slip Tightening:Selected bolts can be tightened via a TORX 30 key from just one side, without running the risk that the opposite side slips or turns, allowing faster and more straightforward tightening of important hardware components.
