The Merida Scultura 100 is a lightweight alloy frame road bike designed for social road riding or long distance commuting. The proven Prolite 66 Triple Butted Aluminium Frame (6066) is extremely light and durable. Using triple butted wall thickness and hydroforming technology the aluminium tubes have the best possible stiffness to weight ratio. While a tapered head tube with 1 1/8″ bearings in the top and 1 1/4″ or 1 1/2″ in the bottom also creates excellent stiffness and precision steering. The bike looks amazing with the double pass welding giving it that sharp carbon-like appearance. The cables are hidden internally to give it thatneat and tidy look andprotect the cables. It is equipped with carbon forks, which provide superb vibration damping and enhance control, the steerer and fork blades are all made of carbon.

Shimano Claris components are used across the shifting components, offering a higher level of quality and performance compared to many entry level road bikes. The wider 25mm tyres are a comfort feature, further reducing vibration felt through the bike. It is important that you are comfortable while you ride, and as an entry-level road bike the Scultura 100 makes sure that you are looked after. Carbon Fork 2019: Carbon forks provide superb vibration damping and precise steering. All road bikes feature a full carbon fork; the steerer and fork blades are all made of carbon.

HFS – Hydro Forming System 2019: Tubes are inserted into negative moulds and a hot emulsion of water and oil is forced through at pressure, enabling them to be formed into complex shapes.

X-Taper Headtube 2019: Using a tapered head tube with 1 1/8″ bearings in the top and 1 1/4″ or 1 1/2″ in the bottom creates superb stiffness and precise, confidence inspiring steering.

Smooth Welding 2019: Sometimes called double pass welding, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance you will be convinced it is carbon.

Internal Cable 2019: Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.
