Merida Scultura Disc 7000-E is a high performance carbon road bike with disc brakes and Di2 electronic shifting! The Scultura is a great all-round road option, that balances speed with long ride comfort. This makes it suitable for longer or shorter rides, training and racing.

The Scultura frame platform is favoured by Merida Bahrain in the UCI Pro Tour, meaning models throughout the series benefit from the research and technological innovation that goes into building a bike to perform at the highest level.

The frame comes in three different different grades of carbon fibre throughout the Scultura series, with the Scultura 7000-E featuring Merida’s top grade CF4 carbon frame. Meridas NANO Matrix carbon technology uses NANO-particles to reinforce the matrix structure of the carbon fibre which offers up to 40% more strength and impact resistance than commonly used methods.

Shimano Ultregra Di2 provides smooth and precise electronic shifting and stays in tune with limited maintenance. The 11 speed cassette also gives you a greater gear range to play with when you really need it.

Disc brakes not only provide signficantly improved stopping power, they also offer greater tyre clearance, allowing you to run bigger tyres if you wish. Rim brake models will accomodate 25mm tyres while the disc models can take 28mm, giving you the option of putting a larger cushion of air between you and the tarmac.

A tapered head tube provides more strength and stiffness through the front end of the bike, which means improved overall handling. Flex Stay technology in the rear allows the carbon to offer some vertical movement, which is designed to absorb bumps and vibrations to create a more comfortable ride.

Internal cable routing provides a clean aesthetic as well as protecting the cables and prolonging their lifespan.
