The Merida Speeder 10-V is an entry-level flat-bar road bike that is built for commuting or riding recreationally with friends. The Speeder 10-Vs frame is made from Racelite 61 Aluminium (6061) and is lighter and more advanced than previous years. Merida use an additional heat treatment and double-butted wall thickness to produce light and stiff frames.The frame geometry allows you to have a relaxed and upright riding position, that is comfortable and gives you more control with less effort. The flat-bar riding position is very comfortable, providing you with better visibility and control compared to the traditional drop-bar road bikes, particularly when riding at lower speeds. The Speeder 10-V is equipped with V-brakes to give you low maintenance stopping power, and a 21 speed Shimano drivetrain that will give you a very smooth ride.
