Norco Optic A2 is a category bending, dual suspension trail bike. Suited to the rider who is either upgrading from an older mountain bike, or is looking to get into the sport with a bike that will last the distance.

The Optic features progressive trail geometry which has been carefully tuned across each frame size to give every rider the same optimal fit and ride quality, while A.R.T. suspension delivers both efficient climbing and lively, capable descending.

The Optic was designed from the ground up in two wheel sizes, offering the choice between the quick acceleration of 650B or the improved rollover and momentum of a 29er. To make your choice easier, Norco optimized the geometry of the 29er to share the same fit and handling characteristics of the 650B version

The Optic A2 is built for optimum performance without blowing the budget. Fox suspension is favoured by many riders out on the trail for a reason, with a progressive feel the bike gives predictable handling whilst still being lively and playful.

A Sram NX 1×11 setup keeps the drivetrain a simple affair, and Trans X dropper seat-post gives you on the fly saddle adjustments with a simple lever in place of your left hand shifter.

650B AND 29ER WHEELS:

The Optic uses 650B wheels on the XS-S frame sizes to offer the best fit and handling for smaller riders, while the M-XL frames use 29er wheels. Both are tuned to deliver a perfect fit and optimal performance on the trail.

BOOST SPACING:

Allows for the same compact rear-centre length for both 650B and 29er models, ample tire clearance and a stiffer, stronger wheel.

REMOVABLE FRONT DERAILLEUR MOUNT:

Offers the flexibility to run a side-swing front derailleur or a clean-looking 1x drivetrain with or without a chainguide.
