The Pivot Mach 6 Alloy Mountain Bike is built to tackle every climb and descent with swift efficiency. It all starts with the progressive long and low geometry which puts you at one with the bike, so that you can utilise the extremely stiff frame which maximises power transfer and suspension performance. The alloy frame is built from Pivot’s next generation of hydroforming methods which enables Pivot to precisely construct wall thickness and complex, multi axis tube shaping which creates the stiff and durable frame. The alloy frame offers similar durability as the carbon frame while adding less than 300 grams to the weight of the frame. The Mach 6 Alloy still uses the same ultra-stiff clevis and linkage, and large, suspension specific, EnduroMax bearings as the carbon model.

The suspension on the Mach 6 is designed with Dave Weagle’s renowned DW-Link Suspension which is specific to long-travel bikes. It offers anti-squat which ensures non-stop traction and combines seamlessly with the variable wheel travel path which provides unrivalled square-edge bump absorption and control on technical trails. When you consider the effect of the FOX Factory 36 Fork and FOX Performance DPS Rear Shock you get an extremely responsive ride which is extremely efficient while climbing or descending. This is partly due to the shock’s EVOL air sleeve which reduces the amount of force to initiate travel which results in the ultimate small bump compliance and better bottom-out resistance.
